Destroyer Wheels are available with either a 1" straight
hub or a 1" tapered hub, both precision machined to ensure an exact fit
to your steering shaft.

 Edson Clutched Bi-Spoke Destroyer Wheels
Offers the
ability to disengage the wheel from the wheel shaft and steering mechanism
when the autopilot is on. This greatly reduces the " Flywheel
Effect", wich puts tremendous load on the autopilot. The Clutches
Destroyer Wheel features twin-spokes for an elegant and attrative appearance
as well as making it extremely strong and stiff.
Edson Stainless Bi-Spoke Destroyer
Wheels
This wheel is a classic
stainless wheel design that is a confortable on the eyes as it is on
the hands. The Bi-Spoke design gives it superior rigidity and robustness,
ideal for offshore sailing. These wheels features Edson's ergonomic
"D" shaped wheel rim for helmsman confort and it is sized
to feel right on hands that are both large and small. These wheels
can be covered in Edson's super - smooth orthopedic cowhide, in either
tan or light gray colors.
