Forespar "ULTRA" series end fittings (both the UXP and UTR style) require a minimum of 1.500" I.D. rings for proper function. If the ends are used on rings less then 1.500" I.D. the jaws ("beak") can bind-up in the rings and with the leverage of an 8' pole, (or longer!) the ends will fail.

Forespar offers S/S mast pad eyes and sliding ring cars with 1.625" I.D. rings for use with our end fittings. Lesser diameter rings should be changed-out to avoid potential failure to ends due to insufficient clearance. Forespar® will not warrant ends that fail due to improperlysized rings on the mast.

To complement our medium size Whisker Poles (LC 10-18); Forespar® designed the stainless steel PE-3SF & PE-3SC Mast Pad Eyes. Measuring 2.750" x 2.000", both pad eyes have inside ring diameters of 1.625". PE-3SF is for flat mast surfaces. PE-3SC is slightly bent to better accomodate a curved mast.

Forespar Mast Mounted Chocks

Forespar T-Track 1.250"

Forespar® offers anodized aluminum T-track in one standard size. Track comes pre-drilled with alternating pin-stop and mounting holes. The base of the track is gently curved to better accommodate mast surfaces. Available lenghts - 4', 6', 8' 10' and 20'. The recommended fasteners are.375" x .750" Flat-head machine screws. Forespar T-Track Insert.

These four foot sections of polypropylene inserts are for use on Z-Spar (Z Diffusion) masts found on many boats sold in the U.S. They will fill the slot found in the front center on the forward face of spars designed for cars not suitable for use with Forespar® end fittings. They provide a base for the mounting of standard 1-1/4" "T" track to allow the use of various 1-1/4" mast cars. They are easily drilled and will not promote corrosion under the track.
