is a global company that has always been at the forefront

At Navman's always been innovators, applying their expertise to helping
the customers get what they need out of navigation technology.
That garage-based enterprise grew to become an original design manufacturer
(ODM), adding chart plotters and fish-finders to our range of boating
instruments, such as wind and depth gauges.
Navman has been at the forefront of technology ever since their earliest
days in that Auckland garage. Navman created the first PDA-based in-car
navigation device in 1997, they first wireless B2B products came on
stream in 2001 as well as the first mass market dedicated portable
in-car navigation device, the iCN 630 in 2003.
They developed the world’s first integrated GPRS and GPS receiver
enabling businesses to manage their fleet far more efficiently than
ever before. Their range of GPS modules also found applications in
industries as diverse as mobile phones and construction, while our
iDN 3000 is our first 12V product offering a combined in-car entertainment
and GPS unit for automotive uses.
Navman
Marine is a leading manufacturer of world-class marine
electronics and Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. Established
in 1988, the New Zealand based company provides a diverse range of
navigation technologies across wide ranging industries.
 The
division of Navman sailing instruments also works
closely with world leading hardware partners, for example Palm Inc,
Compaq Computer Corporation, in developing its range of handheld GPS
clip-on jackets. This effectively demonstrates the converging worlds
of computing, wireless communications and sailing telematics.

knows what you need in marine instrumentation: big,bold digits that
you can read at a glance, in fine
weather and bad. The Wind 3100 series is a large digital readout combined
with an analog indicator that reports true wind speed and direction.
Depth 3100 is a simple-to-use stand-alone  sounder/
readout with alarms, and can pass NavBus or NMEA data to other devices.
The Repeat 3100 series is a large LCD display copying and reporting
information from NMEA or NavBus data devices. And the Wind 3150
series is a large analog display delivers easy-to-see wind direction
and speed, with full NavBus and NMEA data throughput.
