Schaefer Boom Vang Bails

Schaefer's Stainless bails are formed from type 304 stainless steel tumbled and polished to a high luster finish. Stamped versions, designed for light duty use on dinghies and small daysailors, can be attached with either tapped fasteners or through bolted. Heavy-duty forged bails are exceptionally strong one-piece units with no welding, tumbled and polished to a mirror finish.

Schaefer's Reefing/Cunningham Hooks are formed stainless steel with high strength welded eyes. Ideal for use as a fast attachment to pressed rings and grommets.

Schaefer Small Boat Halyard Shackles

"Captive" design prevents loss of the pin. Upper crossbar or wire hole prevents halyard from falling off the splice eye. "Stab and turn" quick release pins.

Schaefer snap shackles are made from investment cast 17-4 PH stainless steel. Each shackle is individually X-rayed to assure against casting voids.The hinge arm is designed to assure snag free releases. Three sizes are available with safe working loads between 2,250lbs. and 5,000lbs.

Schaefer Tack Shackles allow for quick attachment and removal of jibs and Genoas during sail changes. 17-4PH stainless steel body and arm are individually X-rayed to assure quality. Formed U-clip provides adequate depth for attachment and full swivel.
