Schaefer's "Sure-Grip" cam cleats are made from investment cast stainless steel that won't wear out or corrode. Computer designed flared jaws allow lines to "drop in" without pulling for quick engagement and release. Open top and removable fasteners allow flushing and disassembly for easy maintenance.

Schaefer Swivel Bases for Cam Cleats

Schaefer's Swivel Cam Bases all easy cleating from almost any angle. Available in small cam with a bulleseye lead for dinghies to a large cam for 5 or 7 series blocks for mid-size cruising and racing yachts. Durable "Sure-Grip" Cam cleat won't wear out or corrode.

Schaefer Cleats

Aluminum low profile cleats are perfect for limited space applications or for use on spars to reduce windage and fouled lines. Available in Silver or black hardcoat anodized versions. Strong and lightweight yet corrosion resistant.

Schaefer's Open Base cleats prevent loose halyard ends from running up the mast. Line ends can be inserted through "open" base and knotted for an easily grabbed end. Available in silver or black hardcoat anodized aluminum. Strong yet lightweight aluminum is corrosion resistant and durable.

Schaefer's Self-Jamming cleats give you quick relief when you need it. Available in silver or black hardcoat anodized aluminum. Strong yet lightweight aluminum is corrosion resistant. One "wrap" around our "V" shaped base section locks line in cleat for quick adjustment. Excellent for use with Genoa sheets or reefing lines.

Schaefer's Four Hole Deck cleats are designed to spread heavy loads. Available in silver or black hardcoat anodized aluminum. Strong yet lightweight aluminum resists corrosion.

Schaefer Padeyes

Schaefer's Welded pad eyes are fabricated from type 304 Stainless steel rod with stamped bases. Thick diameter rings and welded construction provide high strength and durability. Backing plates are sold separately, check accessories table for corresponding item.

Schaefer's heavy duty investment cast padeyes are cast from high quality type 316 stainless steel. Investment casting involves the use of wax molds to create temporary molds ensuring accurate castings every time. Each pad eye has a corresponding backing plate to choose from.

Delrin, Aluminum and Ball Bearing Sheaves

Delrin Ball Bearing sheaves are used in line applications to reduce friction. Schaefer designed their Delrin ball bearing sheaves and inner races with curved surfaces to match the ball races. Delrin sheaves are injected molded with UV inhibitors and monitored molding cycles lending to a strong, UV resistant product.

Aluminum Universal Circuit sheaves (UC) are extremely low friction ball bearing sheaves accommodating both line and wire. High strength self-contained Delrin bearing package, and Nomex/Teflon self-lubricating bushing is used in all "UC" sheaves. Aluminum sheaves accommodate both line and wire, providing a chafe-free surface for line while giving full support to wire. Hardcoat anodized 6061-T6 aluminum offers superior strength and corrosion resistance.

Schaefer Exit Boxes

Ideal for turning internal halyards out of the base of the mast, or internal reef lines out of the boom. Fully welded cage with flush welded sheave pin. Mounting ears formed to fit most mast and boom sections. Anodized aluminum "V" score wire/rope sheaves with NTE Nomex/Teflon bearing.
