 The new D1 rope clutch brings to the day Racer and up to the 32ft cruiser all of the best features of the larger D2 rope clutch - with an all new rounder profile and handle. The benefits however are not purely aesthetic, the handle has a solid link to the domino cluster, friction controlled action and bright clear decals to identify the line function. Internally the unit has doubling plates under the fastenings and a spring located at the base of the unit well clear of the deck fastenings for easy installation. The two models will now handle lines from 6mm to 12mm.
Holding Power: Full holding power regardless of line type. Conventional braided lines or modern H.M.P.E. like Spectra, Dyneema and Vectran lines hold equally securely.
Reduced Wear: Longer holding pattern than conventional cam clutch gives reduced line wear.
Controlled Release: Pull back handle combined with patented clutch and release mechanism provides controlled release even at full holding load. Full Range Available in single, double and triple configurations.
Line Size: Clutches to hold lines from 6mm / 1/4'' to 16mm / 5/8''.

Designed to hold the loads of lines lead back to a winch with the benefit of the ability to release under load. Spinlock rope clutches have the ability to hold loads up to 1800kgs and can take a vast rope range without having to change any parts of the clutch.
