Optimist Tiller Extension 16mm x 80cm (Carbon)

A unidirectional carbon covered with braided carbon/kevlar and a high gloss finish. The releasable rubber joint/swivel has a rope core and is mounted with an aluminum pin. The pin is kept in place by a piece of heat-shrinkable tubing for easy replacement. Should the rubber tear the fibre core will avoid complete failure allowing you to finish the race.
